$10, it is an old keyboard, why should they care?

In Europe they normally go for around 20euros.

But the customs don't know that, go for 10

An item is worth only as much as someone would pay for it. If you had bought it in an auction, the customs rate would be calculated on the auction price.

The Dell AT101W has been found in thrift stores for around 2 Euros and 50 cents.
I have bought a couple other PC-compatible keyboards from that era for 1 Euro on eBay, including one mechanical.
I have bought a couple of ADB keyboards with Alps CM switches on a Swedish auction site for 1 SEK (11 euro-cents) each.

Ok, they let me off.
Apparently it's $35 on eBay an employee informed me...

I guess that was a BIN price, doesn't mean it will sell.

Lots of times, sellers don't know what they have. You can sometimes see an item on eBay at an inflated price with zero bids for months before it finally expires.

I paid £13 delivered for a black AT102W a few months ago. Not NIB, but I understand that the black ones are rarer, and hence more desirable, than the beige ones.

I've sold a few Dell AT101W's, they dont sell very well. Sold one for $25, and listed the rest for $10 and no one would buy any of em.
