Agreed. At the very least, it should have had something like Cherry-double shots. The Ducky/KBC engraved caps seem to better than the Typenow's.

Really, there's not much in the way of innovation in the mechanical keyboard market these days. Everyone is copying the same basic design and offering minimal upgrades/differentiation from one another. The only people doing anything different with design are the gaming companies, but those look like trash, IMO. At least WASD is going after the custom keycap market even if the keyboard is a Costar. That, and they're adding some TLC to the 'board before it ships.

I wouldn't say there's *nothing* going on... Noppoo is doing NKRO over USB, although I guess that's old news now. I don't care if WASD is "just" a Costar board, mine feels fantastic and the price point can't be beat. Custom keycaps are a bonus. If they ever start doing infill they could take over the world, I like mine that much. I just wish that they offered clear switches factory installed, and also an option to substitute a grey (for clears) clear (for browns) or green (for blues) switch for the spacebar so I didn't have to mod it myself. Speaking of which, I've been meaning to do that...

We asked for NKRO over USB.

Leopold gave it to us (well, 18KRO).

Elitekeyboards and Leopold didn't even bother mentioning it.

We went meh.

Lol.
