nope. if you look closely at the first picture, the frame is bigger in the bottom side (black and silver cases).

Why must almost every alu case be a 60%?
We need more TKL variety!

It's the design of the case. And it looks metal grey more than black.Kurrk wrote:It comes with 4 colors, grey, blue, red and brown.
Not black?
And here's to illustrate what matt3o asked
Because TKL case is much more expensive.rindorbrot wrote:Why must almost every alu case be a 60%?

I've been looking for a low profile case. These look good.

Might be interested, but I think I would prefer a high-profile case.

I think this is the same case currently offered in a GB over at GH. If so, it is made by Tex, the maker of the Tex Beetle, and the anodization is being done by the famous PC case designer, Lian-Li. I do not know if it is hard or soft anodized.Julle wrote:Are these hard or soft anodized?
I'd be interested on one condition: if this case is manufactured by KBT/Vortex, I'm out.

Hey Julie! Vortex is the problem. KBT is just one of their many clients. (Not to defend them, but a warning: there are more Vortex keyboards out there than just KBT!) Batch manufacturing like they do is a fine recipe for dodgy quality control. Vortex's interest is in doing the job for as little cost as they can. That's where the profit is in this line of work.

I'm pretty sure they're being sold by the OEM via Geekhack now, correct me if I'm wrong Mr. Tinlong.
