Didn't notice until you pointed it out. What's the story behind that? Just limitations set by SP?

There are no 2.25 (there is a 2.25 units key but only with a rough texture) and 2.75 keys, so we use 2 and 2.5 units.

Is there a chance we'll have molds done in the future for these keys? I mean, 100 orders should be enough to cover the costs, shouldn't it?

Sure. I hope someone else runs a spherical group buy and lets them make the 2.25 units mold to have left ANSI Shift and right ANSI Return.

So what is happening here? Is the ANSI left shift being used as a ISO right shift because the correct length ISO right shift isn't available?

Not available:
2.25 units 2.75 units
Available:
2 units and 2.5 units.

This is a known fact for quite some time, you can even see it in the layout graphics:

Is there a way to query your Perl bot to find out what address my order is shipping to? I'm sorry, but I can't recall. :-(

Nevermind! I found the traffic in my messages outbox.

By now, I had completely forgotten who broght up that color scheme. I still remember that he wanted some brown/beige color scheme similar to what matt3o did but then changed his mind.

Clearly inspired by the Symbolics LM-2 "Space Cadet" keyboard.

Were many of these custom legends that you had made? If someone else wants to run a SPH R5, can they use your tools?

User avatar
7bit

30 May 2013, 20:07

Yes, but only if they let them make a 2.25 units mold.
:ugeek:

Also, it will not be Round 5 if someone else does it!

These 9000 numbers are for people who will get Round 3 replacements but did not order anything from Round 4. However, if you ordered after I added these users, this account is used instead of the creation of a regular one.

The largest regular number is 0779.

7bit, in honor of your name, you should ship orders in which the sum of the numbers in the order number is 7. Like 2 + 3 + 2 = 7.
