Maybe your local hackerspace (or similar) has a mill. Ours is unofficially partnered with a makerspace that has a CNC mill.

If I'm not wrong those are the "Glow in the dark" key caps that come with Raptor Gaming keyboards.

CNC fräsmaschine.

Prices are around 3500 EUR. Not too much I think.

35 EUR per case if we do 100.

Only need material.

Thanks! Are the alt keys the same ones and where can I get them? Im really looking to get keycaps in the greenish/blue color thats on the top logo of the forum..it matches my mousepadbbut I cant find where to get them

No. I think any cellar which is dry will do.

CNC programming isnt actually that hard, Ive done a little myself. Easiest is to get one that allows transferring data from PC, there are CAD programs that can write the cnc code for you based on the model you build.

Having almost completed a job requiring dozens of characters and macros, I'll soon be reducing my Tipro keyboard to a qwerty module in the middle with a 8x8 module on the left and another 8x8 (instead of 12x8) module on the right. My keyboard will then be a real space saver: 67 cm instead of 82 cm.
So there's no need for such a huge machine.

Especially when considering a metal keyboard case is about the last thing I would want

The Alt keys are SP PBT dyesubbed keycaps from boost's GB on *gasp* GH. They were available for pretty cheap, I think around $20 a set but are currently sold out. Chances are they will pop up on Classifieds relatively soon.

I won't name anyone, but a very good engineer from GH just bought a $5000 USD CNC machine, has software and access to industrially priced aluminum and other metals. But sure, I'll sell all my stuff, fund one in another country and pray it all goes well =)

Yes.


The reasons are:
More useful, can be modified, does not cost be penny, runs on whatever I manage to compile it for, if support ends and it is important for me, I can still use it.
