Last Saturday I bought this for 15 € at a flea market in Vienna.
Since the ESC key was missing I replaced it with a red one from Unicomp.

After some initial cleaning I realized that I had made a fantastic bargain.

For its age this keyboard is in fantastic shape. Almost all rivets were intact.

I guess square silver logo SSKs are almost as scarce as industrial SSKs.
The birth certificate on the back states that to this day this keyboard is 30 years old.

How the SSK 1391337 was created
For the picture(s) with the square silver logo I actually took two pictures:
one with an SSK, and another one with a Model M silver logo keyboard (at the exact same position).
Then I cut the silver logo out of the 1390131, resized it to 60% and put it on the SSK.

The original label looked like this:
Only the number seven was from another keyboard.

WHAT!? I thought square label SSKs were mythical creatures that some claimed to have seen but no one could prove existed...

wowowowow. Best find of the year...if not the century...

It's almost a little sad that there aren't any special keycaps on that board, they look standard to me.

Email lorenzo@nyceonline.net if u want NIB SSK. He is insisting on ebay prices, so I can't buy them. He has 4 of them left, NIB, no cables. These are the same as the ones I sold last year. He won't sell for less than like $250 each.

With it being April 1st, I find this hard to believe...

EDIT: neat way to sneak it in with the date label 8-)

Posted on April 1st, apparently made on April 1st, part number ending in 1337.. All points towards a fake!

However, those photos look too real! I put it through plenty of clarify/brightness/contrast changes in photoshop but I couldn't see any evidence of photoshopping. You did a good job on that HAL!

That's impressive! (I will never be able to trust a Model M label any more ... ;-) )

EDIT: Ha! My barcode reader app says that the barcode actually means:
