Macro keyboard photography.

Feel free to share any and all macro photography of keyboard stuff here.

Just today, a nice M42 bellows arrived from Moldova, and I paired it up with a Helios 44 from Russia and an Olympus EP-1 camera. Once I started playing with it, I couldn't help but take some keyboard-y photos.

Another Gateron-Aristotle hybrid - The top housing didn't fit on this one, so I keep it as a demonstrator.

More will come in the future, including quad-shots, Alps-mount sphericals, exploded Futaba clicky switches, and god only knows what else. Also, a side note - the Helios 44 - which I believe is a Zeiss Biotar design stolen by the Russians - tends to do... odd things with out of focus areas. Like the edges of that second Gatistotle. It's kind of fun.

Hmm, my Macro is only 1:2 at nearest 44 cm. Of course I could crop!

Thanks, Seebart!
Here's the Hall Effect sensor from a Micro Switch module:

This one is a (slightly misaligned) Futaba clicky switch. Considering that the plate spring is compressed and suspended by the topshell, you can't have a truly accurate open view of the switch's operation, but this gives you a general idea:

And last (for this update), here's a closeup of my Planck. Milky Gateron blue switches, a custom PCB, and a red acrylic sandwich case:

Wow, I wish I would have seen this post 5 years ago!

Stumbled across this today while looking for a thread I remembered seeing where someone talked about Helios lenses. Never found the post but I was inspired to do some new years eve macro shots of an alps switch for fun. These are focused stacked with about 15-20 photos each. I don't have much experience with stacking yet but I think they turned out pretty sweet.

These really give you a fearful respect of dust btw
