Someone gifted me a plate one Berlin Mech Meetup and I decied to build a kyboard out of it.
2-3 years ago I tried some handwiring, but I screwed the firmware part and trashed the project.
This time I used the qmk firmware builder, it was really easy.

The backplate is from a acrylic sheet I had laying around.
I used a teensy 2.0++ and QMK.

This actually looks way more appealing than I had thought it would! and great on the wires, it looks stellar!

The blanks spots on the board looks really good, gives it a lot of character.

But did you design the plate yourself? since it's a rather odd decision to include a 6.5u spacebar and block off a 1u in the lower right corner of the numpad.

No it was not my design, I got the plate on the Berlin Meetup. The maker said his decision for the bottom row was rather unintentional and he designed the numpad that way because he always pressed the enter key current using the arrow keys.
