This just arrived in the mail and was one of several which Unicomp sold on during their Black Friday sale. I would say it was a really great deal for $89. :D

I ordered this keyboard on 11/29 but was actually 'manufactured' several days later. Having a new nos hybrid keyboard is rather interesting. The plastic case was certainly was made in 1993, the foam packaging and tape look original, and even all the keys including this superb APL keyset looks to be period correct rather than the faded orange garbage Unicomp used to produce, however it seems during the refurb process they swapped in an entirely new internal keyboard assembly! No worries here as all the rivets are fresh so this will no doubt provide years of service without issue. I imagine this is the same assembly Unicomp uses with their 122 key model.

The ground connection was a bit loose so I opted to use a different screw.

Nice. I had already bought 2 bigfoots (2 for the price of 1) in rough shape to restore. This sale a couple years ago would have solved that problem
