Those are not peerless switches as the tops of the caps are rounded. They are clicky Fujitsu leaf springs.

Doubt it's going to last long given that these keycaps are definitely uncommon. This seller is also known for quality restorations.
Wow. Don't know that I've seen one of those for sale before.

How do you get those? Do you have to go to China and buy it from there, or what?

Buy a ton of those and sell it here with some interest.
Get rich quick xD

Just make sure those are SKCM, not SKBM.

looks like clone switches? They are like...bamboo blue alps or something. Has an "FD" logo on the bottom. You can tell from the switchplate pins that it's simplified.

I think they are all Alps SKBL/SKBM series, made by Forward Electronics.

I don't even know why there is a blue SKBM switch when white already exists!

What even are the differences between the white and the blue? Stiffness?

I don't think their stiffness is that different, if at all.

edit to answer your question, though - the main difference between SKCM blue and white are the normal differences between gen. 1 and gen. 2 alps switches. Gen. 1 switches have:

-factory dry lube applied to slider
-long switchplates

whereas gen. 2 switches have

-short switchplates (possibly made of a different plastic)
-altered slider colors (possibly made of "slippery" plastic since dry lube was removed)
-can be bamboo instead of pine (also possibly different plastic used)

Yes, that was exactly my thought as well. I mean they stopped producing blue SKCM for a long time and then reintroduce them as SKBM blue next to the white ones?!

Mind you, they are very probably SKBM, in which case they'll feel quite different from SKCM, I suspect.

I have a bad feeling about those simplified blues if they start circulating through the community market. Some people will think they are real blue alps and could get taken advantage of =( Or it could also mean the price of real blue alps plummets because ppl think they are readily available. I'm actually not too fond of either of those situations - especially the latter since it devalues a lot of boards in my collection, hahaha.

edit: We should update this page: wiki/Category:Alps_SKBL/SKBM_series

To be honest I'm not even sure that these are legitimate - there's the possibility that someone took a bunch of FD housings and made new sliders for them.

I'll agree on that one as well, amber omrons would be interesting to use for a board.

Just got these in the mail and they are all cherry black boards with it seems NKRO. Not bad for the price.
