Hi,
Can I use this controller to build a small NumPad?

It's the only controller I can find in switzerland for a normal price.

The pro micro does not have enough pins for most keyboards, a NumPad should be okay though.
I am not sure if you need/want a 5V version, though.

yes better to take a 5V version instead of 3.3V! and otherwise I used the promicro with up to 60 keys (5x12) with tmk without issues so far.. the promicro you can find even cheaper (like 2$ shipped!) on aliexpress. Otherwise a teensy 2.0 is around 15$ but sometimes even less on eaby.de and would be a bit easier to flash and has more pins, so good for tkl keyboards or full ones.. but both are very good for diy keyboard projects
