Help! Model F XT does output characters

I wired my model F XT to a teensy 2.0 running Soarer's software. I then tried bridging the contacts on the pcb with my fingers but nothing happened. I opend up the listening tool, and got this:

I resembled the keyboard and still nothing happens in the listener when I press a key. I may have fired the pcb when setting up the soarer's converter - if there is a way to test this, please let me know!
