I got a 3M Ergonomic Mouse by accident: I bid 4 Euro on eBay and got it for 3.50

The spec sheet on the 3M website says that the scroll button works with "some applications". If it only works with some applications I will most likely not keep it (provided that I like it at all).

Does anyone own one of these and can tell me what scrolling with it feels like and whether it works everywhere or not?

Great price.

I wore one out a while back (took quite a while to do that, so don't worry about it). The scroll button doesn't work everywhere, but I forgot about it after a while.

The mouse pretty much keeps the wrist still and you have to use your shoulder and elbow to move it. The left and right mouse buttons are superb, you kind of 'roll' your thumb in one direction or another to activate the switch. Never had a problem with the buttons (I click on average 2500-3000 times a day) - really comfortable.

If you don't get on with it, I'll happily buy it from you. At least try it for a week (pref. two weeks) first.

Thanks for the info. I will definitely try it for a week or two but in case I don't get along with it I will let it go for what I paid + shipping ;)

And yes, I was pretty lucky to get it for 8,- shipped. I expected it to go higher (and I didn't want to spend much on it) so I only bid to get notified when someone else bids
