Nope. You might be thinking of the F104?

Posted by Gainsborough a couple of pages back - that seller also has a white Alps Jameco AT board up for sale.

This has been up on ebay for like 6 months. I think it might have been posted here already - if it has I apologize for bringing it up again...but I gotta know...

http://www.ebay.com/itm/Apollo-A1630-82 ... 2876452381

what is this thing!? I've messaged the seller two different times and never got a response - it looks so cool, but I want to know what switches it has.

It's probably a rubber dome. You can tell because the back of the case is scooped out and curved.

These are worth about the same as an F XT, maybe less. They're pretty cool because they have a solenoid that you can hook up with relatively little effort.

Is this beam spring?

Are you saying these are fairly easy to convert for use on modern machines? Do I need a Teensy or are there converters available on the market?

I missed blaise's auction on the Sharp X6800 keyboard assembly, damn it! If someone here bought this and only needs the switches, please sell me the board. I need the board to fix the keyboard on my Sharp X68000. I don't need the key switches.

Somebody paid a pretty steep price for those nasty looking blue Alps. I wish the buyer luck with the restoration.

I saw that - $117 or something crazy. Makes me feel better about that kb-101a that likely doesn't work. Also, he posted another one:

http://www.ebay.com/itm/Vintage-Clicky- ... SwTM5YucYT

this one has an almost complete set of caps!

Is it the PCB you need? I don't have one, just curious as to how you will fix yours since I might be undertaking a similar project. Would you just desolder all the switches and switch the PCB?

Yes. On the keyboard I have, most of the traces were cut to try to wire it up directly. Trying to restore it has bee difficult so with this PCB, I can fix it easily. I am betting that this was purchased for the switches which will be desoldered. Once that is done, the PCB is left and it is of no use so it will probably be discarded. I'm hoping to save that from happening.

Those blue alps can be restored, only thing that matters is the click leaf condition since thats really the only special thing about blue alps. If they are completely scratchy replacing the switch tops from some clean oranges will make them very nice. Hopefully thats what the buyer is prepared to do since from the looks of it those switch tops are beyond cleaning.

the only thing that can bring those back to life is a top swap, you are quite correct. I cant be bothered to take the time to do it to my 2 boards worth I got forever ago from taobao.

I like the seller's definition of "light use". Those shiny keycaps are probably caused by the use of light. Not good for a restoration project, a switch donor perhaps.

Those don't look clean at all.

I really want to get a board with SKCM creams, but I keep seeing boards like this popping up, and this just won't do.
