Keyboard find: Unitek K-157

I just bought the keyboard I was asking ID for in this post not knowing what it could be, but suspecting it could be a nice surprise, and sure it was!

The only reason I got it was the keycaps looked ALPSy enough to gamble on it.

And certainly the clicky sound is very nice, unlike the Cherry MX Blue I tried from a recently made G80-3000. This one offers a refined subtle crisp noise, whereas the MX Blue was annoying and loud for my taste.

Then it must be ALPS, right...?

No! Looks like an MX compatible clone, but the feel AND the clicky sound are really pleasant nonetheless.

After a quick research on DT, the foam and foil option seems to be the lucky winner (please correct me if I'm wrong

)

Oh yes, thanks guys. I got confused with this Dome with slider edit: (I don't know why 'cause dome and clicky don't go together I guess...).

SMK are nice anyway.

Dome and clicky definitely go together! They're not common, but they certainly exist
