Hi all!
I recently came across an abandoned model F XT, in a forgotten basement at a university, and I promptly adopted it.
It is missing a dozen stems though, and I was wondering if those of a model M would be compatible, or if there are any differences.
My model Ms are back at home and I won't be able to check by myself for another couple of days, but I'd like to know if I have to start looking around the web for spare parts, so that I can get things going.
If you have any other advice about best practices in restoring an 122F XT, please let me know!
Thanks in advance
gg

An XT is one thing, and a 122-key terminal is something very different.
Key stems and caps are interchangeable, no problem.

I guess I must have read too much and mixed up some things.
The keyboard I found has "Part no. 1445098" and from here wiki/IBM_part_numbers it is referred to the 6110344 model (which is a F 122).
edit: if there's need for pictures, I'll be able to add them tomorrow.
edit: by the way fohat, great job on your F 122 mod post on geekhack, outstanding work!
