Yeah well, I guess so. I wasn't planning it to go so low, just randomly made a low ball offer, but hey, cool.

Except for one thing...

Edit: he corrected it.

Oh wow, nice one ramnes. I was going to bid too but thought it would go WAY higher than that.

I've really got to thank Chyros for mentioning that mint Omnikey this week. It arrived in absolutely beautiful condition, and it's the first time I've gotten to experience old SKCMs on a genuine bigass metal backplate. It's basically in as good a condition as my Ultra TP at literally less than 1/3 of the price, and I regard it as pretty much a steal given what Omnikeys normally go for.

I was salty about missing out on some other gems the past month, so this was an awesome find. Thank you again, sir. 8-)

(Also, I have to second the opinion you put forward in your Ultra review... old Complicated White Alps, in this particular chassis, really do sound--albeit not quite feel--like Blue Alps.)

I'd guess rubber dome. It's from 1996. Best case scenario, it's got some bad Alps clones.

It's a 11-500044-00, I showed one in my dome with slider megareview. Tulip dome with slider, they're pretty good. The caps are Alps-mount and doubleshot, but note that they use rod stabilisers on the large keys.

Yep, I've had numerous people offer to buy the keyboard only (including an offer for $70 free shipping...) but I'm trying to hold out on breaking it up.

Made by or for Limtech Industrial Co. The switches are clones, by the way ;) . Note the replacement Tai-Hai Cherry-like cap on the numpad!

As long as that knowledge is correct.

Not too sure how decentralized videos are helping the Deskthority wiki which dozens of people have worked on years yet you don't seem to care. No way to confirm your data either (which is really the point) since it's a one-man video gig.

Well I'm not very good with programmy stuff let alone doing a wiki, so I try to contribute with my videos instead :) . As for decentralisation; feel free to add my videos or links to it to the wiki :) .

There is no "programmy stuff" involved in wiki-editing. Great would be if we could have your videos in the wiki, but links will have to do. I know you get what I mean anyway.
