I will definitely post pictures once I get the Micro Switch keyboard. For that price I had to buy it, it looks to be in quite good condition. The staggering is a bit weird, though. On the other hand it has more than enough keys on the bottom row, which is rare for older keyboards, and the keycaps look awesome.
I guess it will be the oldest keyboard I own, maybe beaten by the Cherry B 65 keypad from around 1982.

30g Topre keyboard with spherical keycaps in JIS layout:

[wiki]JIS[/wiki]. ISO is closer to ANSI than it is to JIS.

30g uniform, eh?

Supposedly! It would feel so light with tall switches like that. SA caps are much the same and they make everything feel lighter too.

That's a nice one all right. As 002 spotted recently: some guy is selling a good number of Nissho boards like that on Yahoo Auctions Japan:

http://page18.auctions.yahoo.co.jp/jp/a ... w117345255

If you click on the user's other auctions you'll see (besides for some Japanese porn DVDs the last I looked!) several of these grand old Topre OEMed spherical boards. 9800 yen each = $82. They're JIS of course but not quite the same layout on the bottom row:

vs.
Image

Strange those "spacebars" (are they both or is one backspace or something nifty?) are yellowed. They're ABS. But usually JIS boards are PBT all the way down.

Hall Effect boards definitely look cool, but is there actually a working controller for these yet? There wasn't last I checked.

Only 2 hours 45 mins on this, but potentially a cheap (25 pound shipping though) UK (?) ISO Topre Realforce 104UB with variable weighting:

good find Stabilized! Too bad it´s variable weight.

Au contrairian! The variable weight is the good part, the numpad is the problem.

Amusing to see even a Realforce winds up in an amateurish auction from time to time. Someone rescue it!

Hmmm, also no feedback as a seller.
Well, it is eBay so getting your money back should be pretty easy. Still, bit of a weird listing!

Perhaps he thought that his only way to sell it would be to an englishman, as it's a UK layout?

10 minutes and no bids on that RF, let´s see what happens. I believe that there is no specific Denmark Ebay, still does not explain why he/she is selling in the UK.

I asked the seller about shipping costs to Germany, no reply.

Offtopic: I just saw you "new" signature/ rank for the first time now shreebles. It´s even better than mine!

well someone got it for £77.06[ 2 bids ]!
