Well, that's the term the seller used where I bought it from. I didn't use the keyboard much, only to discover I have too much stuff and some of it needs to go (sorry hypkx). Here's the solenoid;
Can you or someone else link me to more information about that chinese solenoid? Where can I buy it? I already have one original ibm solenoid, but need a second one. And this one looks really good. Does it also sound good?
Sorry that I can't really help with prices.

It may not be the exact model, but here's one that JP! linked to in November:

No problem, I sold it already.

thanks.
Sadly it looks like this one's too big to fit inside a 4704 case. But I guess that's a really nice solenoid for a bigger Model F. Maybe whoever bought it can make a typing video.
The same seller also has some smaller solenoids, maybe I'll order one of them

I have one and a solenoid driver that you can have if you're willing to wait a few months for me to get home.

Figured out nothing, I'm uninformed about Carbon SA, just got many caps in a grab bag and traded to try to complete the set. Lookes awesome but SA is not for me.

Was just curious because only SA Carbon R2 featured these skull caps and R2 is shipping out just now..

First one: worth restoring for sure. $20-25 (edited, realised I was wrong)
All the ones with keycaps like this (
https://i.imgur.com/AaV8X9Q.jpg) or this (
https://i.imgur.com/zMkXK4a.jpg) (at least $30 for good condition double shot Alps and Cherry keycaps, the ones that aren't yellowed, but you can retr0bright them to make them white again, and then you can sell them)
HP one: I heard it's pretty decent, put it up here in the market and see if anyone wants it.
Rest are nothing great, besides maybe this one (
https://i.imgur.com/aLAuzZE.jpg). put it up for the price of shipping and see if anyone wants it.
Amúgy észrevettem, hogy Magyar vagy te is

! Nincs sok magyar a Deskthority-n.

ty, for the quick reply, then I start restoring them, then put on the market topic

Jaja, nemis gondoltam volna, h vannak egyáltalán magyarok : D, ahogy látod az összes bill magyar vagy magyarosított, az egyikre filcel vannak bevésve az ékezetes karakterek

that first one is not worth 40€, it's worth around 25€ because of the switches that aren't great and the pad printed keycaps...
I'd say that all the Alps compatible keycaps ones are worth what their keycap set is valued at, so I'd say maybe 20€ each.

Hehe Nincs mit
Sajnos nem különösebben keltette fel az érdeklődésemet egyik sem. De szerintem lesz rájuk vevő.

How much is fair for USB-converted sun type 5?

A related question: is it worth it to USB convert older keyboards before trying to offload them. I have one NEC APC-410
left that I'm about to sell and it wouldn't be too hard to throw a pro-micro in there before I put it up.

I always put in the listing that a USB adapter is available and to message me for more information.

Hi all.
I wonder if anyone can shed some light on my C-Link terminal keyboards. They appear to have PCB mounted Cherry MX Black switches with build-in zener-diodes, as in a Cherry MX3500. The pcb says it was manufactured by Koutiang.
Can anyone help me to establish a value for these terminal keyboards?
Is there any information to be found on Koutiang? The only information found so far is on DT.
Is there any information to be found on C-Link?

I'm not an expert in vintage Cherry keyboards but I'd put a guess at $50. They are unique but they aren't made by Cherry and it's a bit of a weird layout for anyone not used to the IBM 122 layout. I'd say that the switches will be the most valuable part of it.

I also think so, even if it's the two rows of Cmd caps which would be of interest to me.

Just curious if I can refund a SKB75 partially: what is a WASD V2 TKL ISO-DE Barebone with MX Green worth?
