Ah... I remember entering machine code. So much typing for so little results. (simultaneously thrilling and boring)
APL is mostly just mathematical functions - for the time when computers were big calculators:
Also watch "The Origins of APL - 1974" if you want to see bad 70's fashion and hairstyles.

I've discovered the real reason for all the troubles in the Middle East at the moment... crappy rubber dome keyboards! They're mad as hell and they're not going to take it anymore.
Isn't that always the way?
(..well... besides all that American interference, oil theft, bombing, targeted drone killings, etc...)

Ahem. *Israel* They have their reasons, the way our wise and generous governments keep fucking around with them.
Let's send Topres and call it quits.

Imagine what the world would be like if the Jews had accepted British Guiana as their homeland instead of Palestine.
The Arabs would probably still squabble amongst themselves and the Americans would still be interfering to get access to the oil, but I'm sure things would be much more peaceful.
(...not so many riots over rubber domes, I mean )

Sadly, that, Patagonia and the Jewish Oblast in the USSR just weren't going to cut it. To be fair, I gather they don't feature much in the Torah…
Unfortunately, the migration of former Soviet Jews to Israel in the 1990s gave Netanyahu and his vicious ilk a huge boost in the polls and indirectly led us from Oslo to the hellhole we are in today. Nothing's easy in the middle east. Well, besides killing. That's super easy.

I also bought a tape deck in need of a bit of repair but it's one worth repairing. Also pretty awesome looking.
I also got a Nak 730 receiver seperately but from the same place at different times.

sweet stuff guys! i miss having my whole setup. had a few decent tape decks, a yamaha and a technics. i'm just using a crappy boombox/bookshelf setup while I live in holland. the nice thing is i'm sure the previous owner never played tapes in it so the heads are clean and it sounds surprisingly good. i mean, they ARE tapes after all... but it works for me
now the fun part... duplicating 10 C40 tapes at 1x

duplicators are cool but they take a lot of time and effort to keep running nicely and sounding good.Compgeke wrote: ↑I seen 2 Sony tape duplicators today, one source 3 output. I just haven't anywhere to put them.

As long as it's through a crystal clear 480i SDTV for that authentic experience.
Maybe you could get one of these: http://www.retrothing.com/2012/03/an-in ... e-80s.html
