?
No.

I do it the other way round: I upload them to the wiki and then post them here.

I think it is restricted to 724px.

Or do you mean the size of images in the wiki?

Just make them as large as you like.

724px it is then!

Just checked. It's 749px.

It would be much better if there would not be a fixed size on that, but webwit ignores me when it comes to improvements.

I am still wondering if the ABS awesome key sunk like a brick when you put it into clear tap water......

Hah, I know a TRAP when I see one. You take the lead on making forum improvement suggestions. It rarely ends well. Especially when half the moderators are from OCN!

And be nice, Reddit is watching.

Got any distilled water and RinseAid? And ROCK might have been an exaggeration. But once you get into comparing speeds you get into RipOmeter precision arguments.

Float or do not, there is no try!

The salt avoids false positives for PBT.

I respectfully disagree.

The difference between a rock and a feather is very pronounced.

It's good to know that when in doubt, you can always add salt to the mix.

Well, each scientist has their favourite test. Look at RipOmeter vs WitOmeter vs LimmyOmeter! Just don't do a CERN on Einstein is what I say!

Tried boiling POM yet? My guitar pic did not get the rough edges but my Kinesis Keypad did so I suspect softening/colouring/uv plastic additives.

The finger slide test is still the best for that one. It's like sex. Eewwww....

Well, you could always compare the breakdown potentials of PBT and POM. The breakdown potential of PBT is more than twice as high as the POM's.

I just breakitdown with a hammer.

PBT keys shatter.

Abs does not.

That's because I have no idea what you're talking about. What fixed size?

I was wondering that too.

The image resizer works fine for <2M pics AFAIK.

At GH even the site admin can't answer a simple question so I had to figure it out myself.

I wiki'd it anyway:

http://deskthority.net/wiki/Keycap_construction#Testing

Mind that this test isn't truly scientific: it doesn't take the keycap construction into account. If one of the two is better reinforced, it might have a better resistance for smashing. I marked it as "improvised" in the wiki.

Try it, it IS fun!

Acetone and paint brush on underside of key is a tad less destructive but results in loss of brain cells which I have a surfeit of.

I used a hammer... Smashed them all to smithereens.

Then I used a pincer :

Hah,great video!

I have a basement concrete floor so your GF is probably glad you didn't use the hammer on your dining room table!

Pom versus PBT isn't an easy one with chem/physical testing but once you've tried them the feel is unmistakeable.

BTW I took my Cherry Corp RicerCar SPOS keyboard with POM keys outside and it indeed has SLIGHT dimples on the Numpad Enter and spacebar.

But in this case since PBT and POM keys have dimples it doesn't help us much.

These keys remain the FAVORITE of my lasered White on Black keys.

I still mean to write the technology up into a Wiki sometime. I THINK it is low wavelength lasers with Titanium Dioxide additives to the POM.

Anybody know for sure? This has been bugging me for YEARS!

That's what you get when you watch german kid television shows when you are young :-)

einen Kranken aufpäppeln
to cocker an invalid

What googler location are you using?

I google ranked first get this : http://de.wikipedia.org/wiki/Krankenversicherungskarte

Never really understood how google does that.....

Ah, a better translation : "Health Insurance Card"
Obvious, once you see it....

Nothing about German is obvious.

I'm still figuring out why their health care system allows the cocker of invalids.
