Hey there. I was wondering if anyone else had tried using the keyboard controllers from Bathroom Epiphanies? I have been trying to use one to replace the damaged original on my RK-9000 from Rosewill to no avail. I am attempting to use the software Atmel FLIP to flash a hex file onto the controller, but I can't get the usb device to open after resetting the magnetic switch on the controller. The keyboard simply shows up as an unknown device in device manager with automatically chosen drivers. Anyone have suggestions or comments about what I might be missing?
Thanks for your time.

I'm assuming you're on Windows. After you've activated the magnetic reed switch, you'll have to install the libusb driver (bundled with dfu-programmer, which is the superior utility for the flashing job IMO) for the "unknown device". After you've done that, you should be able to flash your controller in either FLIP or dfu-programmer, whichever you decide to use.
Edit: here's a quick guide to dfu-programmer http://deskthority.net/wiki/Costar_repl ... programmer

I still get the cannot open usb error in FLIP. Windows also seems to be ignoring my attempts to install drivers from dfu-programmer. I select the dfu-prog-usb-1.2.2 folder to look for drivers and it claims that the most recent driver is on there. Driver for the "unknown device" is from C:\Windows\sys32\DRIVERS\usbfilter.sys
