How Many RF87U Owners Do a Detachable Cable Mod?

Just curious how many Topre RF87U owners modify their keyboards to install a connector for a detachable USB cable? For those who do, what kind of connector and procedure do you use? I recall seeing a post on GH about this some time ago, but I didn't particularly like the method that was used. Even if you haven't (yet) installed a USB connector, would you have procedures to recommend?
