[Solved] TKG Tool Isn't Flashing the Backslash Key on a UK Layout

Hi

I've just built my first keyboard and everything went surprisingly smoothly, I was expecting to run into far more problems than I did. The only thing I haven't so far managed to fix is as follows.

The instructions for the PCB I used (an XD84 from Ali-Express) explain how to use the TKG Tool to flash the layout onto the board. As I'm in the UK I've created a UK layout on keyboard-layout-editor.com which has a backslash key between the Left Shift and the Z key as is standard on a UK keyboard. I then pull this layout into the TKG webpage, and trigger the board so I can flash directly from there. Once I've flashed it onto the PCB though, all of the other keys work as expected apart from the backslash/pipe key which instead shows up as another #/~ key.

Does anyone have any idea how to solve this?

Cheers

After trawling through lots of slightly irrelevant posts online I finally happened upon one, which had the solution.

If you go to the Help section on the TKG site, it lists the keys that TKG understands. About halfway down there is an entry that's called "Non-US \ and |" next to it are two different versions for the pipe symbol, the second of which has "iso |" . Adding this to the keyboard layout instead of the plain "|" and reflashing made everything just work.
