Think I forgot to post this last week; an extended typing demo of my lubed H-Tek 725, requested by a viewer. It has a very nice typing sound. I'll probably be doing more videos like this in the future

I need to lube my linier space invaders!
Don't try lubing the click ones ... It dampens the sound too much and makes an almost tactile switch... but not crap like normal NMB tactile. I lubed one click switch on my click NMBs
I guess you could lube all but the back of the switch. I may try that on another switch see how it goes.
You don't happen to have any spare NMB switches do you ? i need about 4 springs from black clicks and ideally a blue space bar switch! I was just going to nab the springs out of my tactile board as i dont like tactile NMB at all, but i hate to kill a whole board for 1 switch and a few springs.

The best way I found to lube them is to pull the slider off and lube the middle peg/ or the inside on the slider that rubs against it.andrewjoy wrote: I need to lube my linier space invaders!
