The most useless keyboard in existence?

I was browsing for keyboards today and found this. The layout is beyond useless I just had to share this find. I can't even begin to think how difficult this would be to use on a daily.

That is most likely a general-purpose keyboard which has been specialised for some special purpose in an embedded computer. It must have been cheaper than manufacturing a specialised keyboard from scratch.
You see similar keyboards now and then.

Yes I see what you mean. A lot of wasted space though the keyboard could have been a lot smaller judging from the key layout.

I wonder if you took the cover off, if the board would have keyswitches in the other positions (just no caps) or if it would be totally unpopulated

My guess is it would probably be unpopulated just to save money.

yea, 101 and 87 layout is the best. I just want to know which switch variant inside the keycaps.

Possibly Cherry MX Blacks.

At least they have an iso layout lmao. I wish we would go back to this time when thick durable plastic cases were normal, and the sound is allowed to run rampant. That case is just bonkers for what the keyboard actually is.
