Hello there, recently, i was going in vacation and wanted to bring my Strongman Keyboard with Strongman Switch or my NEC Oval Blue keyboard with me in vacation to use with my Surface Pro 3. I personally don't want to invest into the external dock extension for a tablet this old (who plug into the power connector) since i got it years ago and cannot even run Windows 10 decently for a long time now. Sadly, it seem that most PS/2 to USB Active Adapter (the cheap $2 kind) and most USB Keyboard from the early 2000'S use USB 1.X instead of USB 2.0 and which some USB Port 3.X don't seem to like at all. IDK if it's the voltage or protocole, i do know USB 1.X port are capricious when it come to usb 2.0 device too. Is there a way to have a adapter or dock or what ever to convert the USB 1.X protocole to 2.0+ outside of Hasu's USB to USB remapper (if that stuff even fix it ?). I don't want to invest a lot of money. I guess it would need something like it own micro controller, kinda like a dock dongle with HDMI and more port from USB C stuff. Finally, i also saw recently someone selling on Kijiji in Quebec Province a USB to USB passthrough with another PS/2 to USB adapter. IDK if that device which looked from the early 2000'S might had been a passive to active PS/2 adapter. The color of the adapter was black and i could not find any of them outside of that listing on ebay or aliexpress. Some member of the discord was thinking it might had been a keylogger, but the seller seem too old and stupid for that. Here's a pix.Image
