I picked up a couple of BigKeys LX keyboards over the last few years. Partly for the novelty but I also though the big keycaps could be useful for a control panel type thing if I ever needed something like that. I got another one recently mostly because it had RGBY nav keys which look cool. The layout was even worse then the others as it has even fewer keys and uses the ABC layout. So I took it apart with the idea of using the switches for something possibly. I was expecting SKBM switches like the others I have and because that was all anyone appears to have reported them as having. I was surprised to find that this one actually used SKCM...
They are a little dusty/dirty but not terribly so. So I got myself some decent switches in addition to the keycaps this time. They unfortunately bent the pins on the bottom of the PCB in most cases. So it made desoldering and removal a little more difficult. Busted a pin on the first one.
