Hello,
I recently acquired a PC-AT clone and a Zenith Z-150 that I immediately fell in love with. I didn't realize that the Z-150 is the black-label XT variant, and have spent the last day or so researching ways to use an XT keyboard on an AT/PS2 machine. My best lead thus far is @engicoder's ATTiny-based adapter (viewtopic.php?t=11474). I have a Pro Micro that should be compatible, but after setting it up on a breadboard I haven't gotten any results. The board has power, but the computer isn't detecting it at all.
Has anyone built this converter with a Pro Micro, and are there any tricks I should know about?
Also, I see from this thread (viewtopic.php?p=474849) that the Z-150 XT has some odd peculiarities. Could this board in particular be incompatible?

Nice find, that first thread. I’d obviously forgotten all about it.
But you’re also right in your second result: the Zenith is a strange variant of XT which may not work well with that IBM specific hardware, even if you can source one.
