Repair OEMMAX ADB Keyboard

Hi all,

Not sure if this should have went in the workshop section or this section, so I apologize if this is in the wrong place.

I have a 1980s Cutting Edge (OEMMAX/ORTEK) ADB extended keyboard (wiki/Ortek_Mac-105). It had sat in some water or been stored in a wet location for a while, and had some minor corrosion. The ADB ports were totally rusted and I replaced them. When plugged in, I get all three LEDS (Caps lock, etc) on steady, and no keys register. I would like to get this going, since it has white ALPS and seems to be overall somewhat harder to find, and is in good shape otherwise. It seems like it is getting power, so I'm guessing an IC is bad? There are two small radial caps, but I haven't heard of any keyboards going bad or acting like this from them.

I don't know where to go next, have not gone this far into repairs before. I can post photos if needed.

Replaced both caps, nothing changed.

you should do a controller replacement with a teensy 2.0 or rp2040 dev board, that is assuming you don't need adb any more.

I've got innards for one, but it is untested - and in Europe, so I don't think it would be worth the cost of postage.
