Break LED on switch to mod key?

I want to mod my Poker's space bar. But cant solder. Is is possible to break the little LED to open up the switch? I dont care if it shines or not as I will never use the lock function for the arrow cluster. What do you think?

let it somebody unsolder for you. I hate the thought you take a pincers and destroy the led.
