A recent discovery by HaaTa — a Cherry M11 switch:

When I was discussing this with ZF, it was suggested that M10 also exists and is fairly similar, but nothing official is known about M10 or any other switches of that era as they're all discontinued (it was pure luck that Ed at ZF had a copy of the spec sheet for M11 filed away). Judging by the dates on the data sheet, it's also unknown why it was not listed in the 1982 catalogue alongside M7, M8, and M9.
(What's needed are catalogues from 1972 and older, 1975—1981, and 1983 upwards, to fill in all the gaps in our knowledge.)
