Variations
Olivetti KBD 2812
The Olivetti version of the G81-3000 was made in the early 90s and comes in two versions.
The oldest uses black MY switches and dye-sub keycaps with nonstandard font. The lettering is blue on beige/grey. This version has been spotted with italian and german layout.
The newer variation uses white MY switches with MX compatible stabilizers. Keycaps are double shots with standard cherry font and blue lettering on beige/grey. So far this version only appeared in italian layout.
Cherry G81-3000 HKNNO
This is a Norwegian layout version from year 2000. It has double shot keycaps except for the bottom row keys (Control, Win, Alt, Alt Gr, Menu) which are printed.

This version was designed for the Yugoslav market and uses black MY switches and dye-sub keycaps with standard font. Layout is QWERTZ but not quite german. There are no Win keys.

Fan editions
The german Cherry distributor keybo.de produced some fan editions of the G81-3000 with white on black doubleshot keycaps. The bottom row keycaps (control,alt,windows) are pad printed and have a off-center mount.
