Refund received. Hope things get better for you lot_lizard. If/when this picks up again I'm sure pretty much everyone that was around for the first set will be more than willing to re-place the same order.

I wonder if these will actuate the model M though. That system actually requires some amount of force to activate, especially with the rubber mat in play.

XT board for $70, shipping included. Not the greatest deal, but looks relatively decent and no bidding war.

Also, while the standard LED cutouts are spaced evenly across 5cm (so 2.5cm between the left edge of one to the left edge of the next) the Unicomp-style ones are spaced ~1.9cm apart (across ~3.8cm). This might be pretty hard to resolve.

It's not hard to resolve at all. Drill new holes and get a ...

From the marketplace thread:

Actually, something to keep in mind: The late model fixed-cable Lexmarks with the cables off to one edge of the case (the ones with a small control board directly attached to the barrel plate) won't work with the USB insert, and the lock light windows don't line up ...

I mean, bolts should theoretically provide the same effect if they're tight enough and the plates still have the slight curvature differences that cause the tension.

That being said, I never found it that terrible to reassemble model Fs. It was pretty bad the first few times, but after taking apart ...

Yeah lot_lizard you might've uploaded the wrong spreadsheet them. Either that or I'm super blind, since I can't find an entry for the springs.

Mouser stocks SDL plugs, they're just relatively expensive (I think like ~$5 + shipping for all the bits) and it's kind of confusing as to what parts you need.

Speaking of stabs, are the spacebar stab slots in the same spot (relative to spacebar) as on a model M/F122?

Asking because I'm currently using a wheelwriter bottom row (code key + spacebar instead of alt + spacebar + alt) on my F122 and have had to make some funky clips to get the spacebar to work ...

Seems like it was a placeholder photo. The label in the listing how says G80-1851 LPMDE, which is consistent with the rest of the board.

Maybe if it stays up for a few more days I'll throw a low-ish offer in.

I think the top one is as well, given that the description just says G81-3000LPNUS/00, which kind of implies both are that model (which has thick lasered caps).

Though the top one is missing two alphas. which makes it less useful as a keycap donor.

I'd actually be pretty happy to sell one for something like 80-90 shipped (assuming you're in the US), considering USPS flat rate is 20 bucks and I need some sort of incentive to sell a board I wasn't planning on selling. That's still less than what these guys are asking, and this is a board I was ...

I mean it's still industrial, it's still an M13, and it's still NiB. People pay upwards of 100 used for the black M13s, and those have crappy pad-printed legends.
