^ i was the "last" bidder on that I got up and forgot about it and you outbid me by a dollar. At least I'm like 90% sure it was this one.

Glad you're gonna use it though because I was going to rape it of springs and flippers for an 122 or a "Model MF".

Hell no. I "learned" to type around 13 or 14 when I was super into IRC chatting and I just got better and faster as time went on.. my fingers just know where every key is through muscle memory and are all over the place. My typing teacher hated me in high school and would nag me 24/7 to keep my damn...

He has always been really helpful when looking for random ass parts.
He also sells those great cables and keeps them in stock for the most part and always has great fair prices.

Bad foam in model fs makes them pretty much useless.

Any time you restore these you should always try to replace the foam.. Not always needed, but more than likely that's the issue here.

I mean elecplus had a f122 on her store for $270 for a week or so and it just sold yesterday I think.

$800 for a f122 is stupid..maybe someone made a salty bet and won't pay. Lol

Edit: those 2 people bidding on that thing have like no feed back.

I must be within the approximation error. I use a 5251 as my daily driver, but to be fair I did remove it from its case and fitted an XT case top on it for wrist support and to complete the look. It works great and is not much higher than a Model M. Anything is possible if you like the switches eno...

I wonder how long it's going to take these ebay fools to realize that they're not at all that rare (we have seen a shit load these past months) and are nowhere near worth a grand. When people stop paying 800+ for them.. which sadly won't happen. ;( Only thing that's going to make these cheaper at t...
