Sorry if it's obvious -- What is this key switch? It's linear and very very smooth. When I took the keyboard out of the box and tried it out I assumed it was Fujitsu leaf springs but I thought those were discrete switches. This is a membrane keyboard so now I'm confused. Isn't the other Fujitsu key...

That keyboard looks amazing! I have to say, apart from the giant price tag of Beamspring keyboards putting me off, I don't think they sound that great either. The spacebar is rattly and doesn't have a thick sound to it like a good Model F does. Plus, of course, they don't ping - which is one of my ...

I think the term mechanical is an easy way to comment on the key feel. Mechanical keyboards are associated with a crisp key feel whereas non-mechanical is associated with something that is mushy and imprecise.
