Why write nonsense?
1 key rollover and the weird layout makes this not worth it.

Also, if you want good offers, take off the cover to show that the insides have no rust and at least do some light cleaning. Looks are everything.

Re: IDENTIFY THE KEYSWITCH thread

Sorry if it's obvious -- What is this key switch? It's linear and very very smooth. When I took the keyboard out of the box and tried it out I assumed it was Fujitsu leaf springs but I thought those were discrete switches. This is a membrane keyboard so now I'm confused. Isn't the other Fujitsu key...

I think blue Alps prices are ridiculous, but keep an eye open for them and don't lose hope. I just got a NOS one for $80 USD.

That keyboard looks amazing! I have to say, apart from the giant price tag of Beamspring keyboards putting me off, I don't think they sound that great either. The spacebar is rattly and doesn't have a thick sound to it like a good Model F does. Plus, of course, they don't ping - which is one of my ...

I think the term mechanical is an easy way to comment on the key feel. Mechanical keyboards are associated with a crisp key feel whereas non-mechanical is associated with something that is mushy and imprecise.
