Re: [IC] IBM Doubleshot Key Cap Set Group Buy?

I don't see full sets for IBM on their Etsy storefront now. Did you place a custom order? How much flexibility do they have in cap colours and legend fonts? Did you design those sublegends yourself? I'm the kind of simpleton who prefers a webstore with multiple choice options so I can work this stu...

Re: [IC] IBM Doubleshot Key Cap Set Group Buy?

Get a couple of hundred people to sign up, and my guess is you’re talking a couple of hundred bucks per full set. Those molds are pricey. Things do get cheaper though at scale. You’d just need thousands of customers to really get going. And I mean customers. Not just “interested” window shoppers th...

But other than the sharper tactility and the slight weighting reduction, there honestly isn't a huge difference between an M and an F in my experience. The way people hyped it up to me made it seem like there was a gulf of quality difference between the two, and I have to disagree. Both are great s...

Re: Apple m0110A E?

That is indeed an Apple M0110A keyboard, with keycaps for (Apple's old version of the) Spanish layout. The switches are typical Alps SKCC cream, standard issue in M0110, M0120 and M0110A keyboards (the latter group until Mitsumi started making 'em). M0110A keyboards with this particular national lay...

Re: Do you type any different with/without homing bumps on keycaps?

I find that I need to look at the keyboard ONLY when my fingers can't locate the F and J homing bumps (or recesses or whatever). I type differently on homing-less keyboards only in the sense that whenever I lose track of my position, I can't "reset" my hands' placement automatically and, instead, I ...

What I have for sale today is a tested and fully functional new old-stock NeXT Non-ADB Keyboard (ABP version) with Pine Black Alps and (what I believe to be) a Spanish keycap set (see the wiki page here for more info: wiki/NeXT ). This keyboard has, indeed, (Next's version of) the Spanish layout.

I think that particular context matters a lot indeed! I've seen the same dynamic on Mac forums too. The more technical the community, the better it works. The more general access, the quicker it all goes to shit. All the more reason, then, to avoid said feature like the plague. DT (and to a lesser ...

A natal astrological chart wouldn't hurt either, if you really aim for good sync with this thing.
