The only keycaps that have cause me issue are from a Logickeyboard colored set that I found on a used AEK 2. While removing them I have litteraly explosed two housing switch who where soldere...

Re: Alps Appreciation

I prefer more smaller form factor. A size close to 60%, ortho if possible :)

For example my daily is a XD75 with a typematrix Bépo layout (Return / Backspace on the middle of the board)

Re: Alps Appreciation

Hi there, I have ordered a M0116 and M0118 for 65€ the two. I think it’s a nice deal and I was thinking to make some custom 60% with them buuuuut… they are 14,5 unit long : What a dumbass I am :p So. I wonder what can be interesting to do with them. 1. Wait and buy two kits https://geekhack.org/inde...

Re: Retr0bright - a cautionary tale

> From my point of view, Retrobright makes only sense on cases but not on keycaps, especially not doubleshot ones. For me it’s the complete opposite. I don’t have inconsistant result on keycaps. I get a very nice result, not burned, very close to a new product because that’s small parts.I have some ...

Can you provide more information about the handwiring ? The medium link is HS. I want to know if I can make a underglow with custom leds (UV) and I don’t really undertand the QMK documentation.

A way to extend them is to use labret piercing at the good diameter / lenght.

Re: Smooth ALPS

Haven’t seen your post before trying to lube them and this is a little mess. The first day the switch was better, really good but not perfect, but after one night they seem’s very bad, like scratchy. I have used 3 in 1 ptfe spray lube on the slider. I don’t know if this is my way to do wich is bad o...

Re: has the trackball landscape changed in any way lately?

With some interface you want to select by clicking an object, drag it, and zoom / de-zoom for reaching another location fastly.
This is a not so common use-case, but when you can’t do it it’s very frustating.

Re: Would these Teensy++ 2.0 pins work?

Basically if I am not wrong on a Teensy you can use all the pin for basic use (like boolean input / output 5V) except VCC / GND / D6 and maybe RST.

Re: has the trackball landscape changed in any way lately?

I have a expert mouse myself. The gray one model on USB. I love it but there is some things to know. First the scroll wheel is lubrificated but very inconsistent. She make a desagreable noise, and I don’t love the feeling. This is very bad considering that he was priced at 100 bucks and because the ...
