Re: Great/Interesting Finds
I have one of these. It's a KB-7001. I love it, but my switches are probably only 6/10 and need to be cleaned. Also, it's a bit light, but not terrible. Overall I definitely recommend it.Lanrefni wrote: 17 Oct 2019, 11:24 Old ergonomic board with what looks like white alps,a big ass 2U Esc key,and a big ass Enter.

Those look like they have stabiliser bars, but that also means that the switches between each one can't be very wide. Because of that, and because it has a white plate, it is likely not mechanical.

I have a DEC LK201. I can confirm that it's a spring on membrane. It feels interesting, but not great. It's fairly scratchy and rough. It gets worse toward the edge of the key press, but doesn't quite bind. The space bar is pretty nice though, oddly enough.

Ah, OK. The difference between the Data General and my Fujitsu FM Towns board ( 4th gen FLS? ) was so stark I thought the Data General might be something other than FLS. The FM Towns board has a very weak click, but the Data General has a great click.
