I'm surprised that Novatouch still has the sping on the spacebar slider after changing so many hands. I've heard stories of people losing them within the first minutes of unboxing the keyboard. You DTers are quite well mannered, I like it!

Here's were I'm currently at: Keyboard shows NumLock LED, converter not so much.

I got it running now with a SSK (PS/2) and a Cherry 3000 (DIN)!

A remaining problem is that the Lock LEDs won't light up. :roll:
I have verified that they are oriented correctly and hooked up to correct pins. They work when probing with external power, but the firmware for some reason doesn't want ...

You have to restart Soarer's firmware when switching inputs/keyboards. Be default, the only way to do this is to reinsert the USB cable. The reset button on the microcontroller reboots into the bootloader and not the user program.

There's a function call in the Teensyduino SDK which let's you ...

That ain't right. The converter runs quite automatically for me. Have you got something resetting it?
Not sure. I can run other programs just fine without resetting, so there's something that triggers it inside Soarer's firmware.

Hmm, the converter firmware immediately jumps into bootloader once I power up the Teensy. Has someone else observed this behaviour? What can I do about it. Other programs run fine on my setup.

Don't think so, weight is the same.

Newer GMK caps don't seem any thinner. I've compared TA with beige and black Cherry sets, as well as a Desko set and they are all the same weight.

Looks like you can just use a Tipro for the ridiculous layout.

This looks like a thoughtfully designed set. The way you've scattered the best stuff between main and extras reminds me of Matteo! As does the fact it actually exists. That dark ANSI backslash… that dark backtick/tilde… those row 5 arrow keys…

I received the numpad today! :D My first piece of NiB Cherry equipment (starting small here ;))

Much to my pleasure, it's a mode4 numpad, meaning I can assign a macro to every key (except for NumLock) without additional software. :o

I've currently have it set up with my SSK. The PS/2 passthrough ...

Otay! After a ton of busy busy busy, here's an update!

Bluetooth testing has been going well. It managed to get 96 hours of being left on continuously and being used on my iPad before needing a recharge. Sweet.

4 days, that's impressive! What size battery did you use?
