Lubing the slider will always be the solution I got a type S HHKB that is so scratchy but you can make 'em feels smoother by just lubing them with thick krytox lube I got mine from zeal but you can mix it yourself the mix is 205 and 103 50/50 mix

Yep and dude you need to lube your HHKB and see how they feels! for me they feels so goooooood and smooooth its just super good

Get another HHKB and silenced realforce and take out the stem and use 'em on the HHKB

The purple sliders that I'm talking about is not the shitty novatouch one but the Good stuff which is the one that was found on Silenced Realforce.

The differences between Purple sliders, Stock type S and hypersphere is just the travel distance

For me I prefer the feels of hypersphere compared to stock type S because my Type S is soooo damn scratchy

Here's an idea: buy a classic used Model M. Let her use that for a while as you watch the Remodeling The Model M thread in Workshop. When lot_lizard opens the group buy, purchase an FEXT assembly. This will be a drop-in replacement for the Model M internals. Watch your wife's face light up with joy ...

Yeah I did. There was a piece where some programmer advocated against swapping Caps and CTRL, he argued that it's more ergonomic to hit CTRL with your palm. You do the same with Shift, not a bad idea honestly but I just can't get used to it :)

60% all the time with HHKB layout like split backspace and split right shift and Caps Lock as Control and using the normal QWERTY layout, Tried Colemak and Dvorak.

Colemak is perfect for me but its really hard to get used to other people's boards so I stick to qwerty, While DVORAK is torturing my ...
