It's so annoying I feel like burning the keyboard sometimes... U know for keyboard science!! Anyhooo, how do I fix this? Hard mod?? Drill new holes?? Space bar is retarded.... What's so hard about making a standard one.... Urhh?!!!

I do wish people would get capitalisation correct. That would be 'Keyboard Science', where any actual scientific aspect appears to be entirely optional

So cut the plastic shit out, cut a square and put a cherry switch in...you can hardwire it with wire, though it will involve replacing the controller.

Ah, right. Well it's dremel time then! But it's quite a big mod, since I presume it's plate-mounted. I guess you'd need to desolder all the switches to remove and work on the PCB, unless you're insanely lucky and no PCB tracks go under where you want to put the switch, or its a single-sided PCB.

thanks for the idea, time to search for the feet sizes, and hope the local hardware store has em..

Or just wire it to scroll lock use software to change it to something useful. Or not wire it all at, it will look better with a switch and a cap there even if it doesn't do anything.

If it's only for looks I have seen someone make some sort of adapter for the 1.5 key to fit in the plastic guide hole thing. Probably a lot easier to mod the keycap for looks. Pretty sure it was on GH, but so much stuff was lost from that rootworm asshat.
I would just sell it to some other sucker and get something that does not have the retarded enter. But that is only lazy me.
