This one is for HaaTa.
Just going through alps.tw's photos — found his page on latching action switches:

First one … hmm that looks like an SMK …
alps.tw calls it "HK.SMK", and we know that some BBC Micros used "Wongs/SMK" switches (no pictures though). Since some later BBC Micros were made in Hong Kong (for increased manufacturing capacity, allegedly), then those photos must be of Wongs/SMK. Interestingly, the Wongs/SMK latching action design differs from those used in "real" SMK switches. Also note a FOURTH branding on the switch base.
Exactly what involvement Wongs had with the design, is a mystery, but now we have yet another company making these SMK switches!

Make that ***FIVE*** different logos on the bottom of these switches. Plus some more colour combinations. Are these all real, or are there fake SMKs out there?

ROFL, more SMK (or whatever the root was)...
This is getting out of hand.
If the switch wasn't so meh, maybe I'd have discovered this sooner ;P

HTK/Hottek one is now here: [wiki]HTK switch[/wiki] — it's either a clone or a licensed redesign, as it does not use original metal parts and it seems to be clicky, too.
The other version, I don't know what the logo says, and it's on an unbranded keyboard! It appears to be identical to SMK though.
