Looking for a 60% keyboard with nordic layout.

Hi mates,

Looking for a keyboard with 60% and nordic layout as the topic says.

I've seen the Poker II & Ducky Mini.

There just a problem, I can't find any places to order it from!

I live in Norway, and I do appreciate the help.

Any ISO layout can change into another ISO layout with the right caps (and selecting the appropriate keyboard language on your computer). So, you might have more luck hunting for an ISO 60% in general instead of just a Nordic one. Then upgrade the caps. The default ones on the Poker II (and so the Ducky Mini) aren't good anyway.

So if I do order a normal Poker II with the USA/UK layout (standard one), I can buy keycaps which are Nordic and program them to work?

Thing is that I wanne keep it under 100 dollars, and Poker II is pretty cheap imo.

So, do anyone know some good keycaps with nordic iso for Poker II? Which size do I need?

Funny you should mention that…

The Poker has a nice regular layout, so plenty of aftermarket caps (like Ducky Nordic's various sets) should work for it. Even a fullsize set for an ISO Ducky or Filco will cover it (with spares). The important part is that you need an ISO keyboard and ISO caps. Ducky, Filco and Poker are all compatible so long as you go ISO.

Just don't expect to be able to afford a keyboard *and* a fancy set of caps like these with your budget! Round 5 is a new version of Round 4 SPH (which your picture uses) and is taking orders right now.

Note the size of all those (extra) mods along the bottom. 1.25 units. That's what you're looking for. But you'd spend all $100 on caps!

Meanwhile, the Filco Minila and especially Minila Air are quite nice. But they use a nonstandard layout and are much harder to fit with new caps.

So I'll order Poker II.

Then I need the Honey/Sixy layout? How do I get this with nordic layout?

And which spesific 1.25 do I need to match the keyboard I linked to.

Here's the Norwegian language kit:

To make a Norwegian language ISO 60%, you could use that, the standard ALPHA kit:

And the 60% ISO mods kit:

Plus a space bar:


There could be sneakier / cheaper ways, but that's the one I know.

You mention "program", and you won't have to. ISO determines the placement and sizes of the keys but the scancodes are interpreted by your oeprating system to whatever language you have it set to. Eg, a German keyboard whas an Ü where the Norwegian has an Å. Their positions are the same and they output the same. What differs is what language you have your operating system set to and the physical letter printed on the cap.

If you don't need the US numbers or symbols in the ALPHA kit, you could save money with HONEY/ALPHAINT instead. It's designed to work with the language kits including NO by leaving out all unnecessary duplicates.


The HONEY/SIXTYISO/BASE is good value and has a great selection of 1.25 keys and options, I would recommend it.
You could save a bit more though with the HONEY/SIXTY125BASE instead, plus a HONEY/JRET and a HONEY/SHIFT125.
But this leaves an extra US ANSI enter and left shift which you don't need, and you don't get the 1.25 key ALT GR.
If you want the ALT GR or any 1.25 keys not in SIXTY125BASE, get the SIXTYISO/BASE instead. In theory you could add a MOD125 kit (includes ALT GR) to the SIXTY125BASE idea but this is more expensive and gives you fewer options.

Basically, you've a ton of options if you're cool with white alphas and grey mods. Plus some expensive alternatives if you want red, black, or grey instead. But don't go nuts. Me and Facetsesame are well ahead of you on that journey!

Not exactly backlight compatible. It's more a demonic glow than a useful thing! (The space bar is Ducky Nordic's limited edition "Nuka Cola" and not Round 5 or Round 4 SPH. That's why you can see its legend.)

Looks like it. See how the legends are all in the upper half of the caps, that's consistent with where the LEDs are mounted on the Shine 3 and most other backlit MX keyboards.

But pink? I thought my yellow Ducky was bold!
