Hi,
as the title says, I got a IBM Model M with a Waterdamage. My friend said, he has forgotten to close his window and so it rains on this Model M. I think this could be possible because the lower row is fine (y,x,c,v,b,n,m etc.) But keys like "6" are typing "j6zh" - "z" is gives "j6zh". "<" presses the Capslock and F1. (and these were only some examples)
So what now?
Is there any help for this damage or should I just say "ok - I will put it as a Picture on my wall?"

Sure it's dried out yet? Give it a week or so.
The M in Model M stands for Membrane. That's the part, along with all the metal springs, that I'd guess is most likely to be damaged by water. Replacing either of them is a whole lot of work: http://deskthority.net/photos-videos-f8 ... t7373.html
