Well, I came up with that monstrous master plan before I built the keyboard. Since then, I've trimmed it down to just two layers behind the default. I have two Function keys (that little Fun key in the picture and also Caps Lock) so I've set the logic to reach my secondary layer when both keys are pressed. This is easy because I have an MX Lock switch on Caps Lock so it really does lock.CM Bram wrote:How is your switching through all the layers btw?
Obviously I'm a keyboard nerd, so I can live with complexity. Designing it myself (powered by a Teensy) works well for me!
