Unlike (almost?) every other language in Europe, or most of the world outside America, Dutch keyboards are indeed ANSI. Or can be… I'm a bit confused about the Netherlands, frankly.

Anyway, here's that shop's image:

Definitely ANSI. Could be ANSI-US again. Do Dutch keyboards usually have English legends like Page Up?

True, In holland we carry UI version which is indeed ANSI

So ANSI is the most popular layout in the Netherlands? And you have some different legends from ANSI-US?

Wish we did something like that in the UK. We're so close to US for legends, but insist on ISO layout!

For NL we always had UI version keyboards... And makes it easieser for companies like us... But in UK indeed seems to be set on ISO... Lot of people I talk to in the UK say they just love that big enter key

If you don't mind I have two questions about the dual USB and PS/2 support in the keyboard.
Is it a proprietary cable?
Does it really work directly when plugged into USB or PS/2 without an additional adapter?

The keyboard doesn't have LEDs does it? I prefer keyboards without LEDs.

Hi Cmm,

1. No the keyboard has no backlight!
2. The keyboard comes with USB cable and has a PS2 adapter in the box as well..

It does have LEDs, but only two: one for caps lock and one for scroll lock.

I got one from that shop and they only had mx reds which are not as nice as blacks. What's more annoying is that pressing 0 or RETURN makes a metallic sound like a clank or bell. Can that be fixed, is it a design fault or construction error?

Three. Missed the Win-Lock LED under the F9 key

To get the ringing out you could try to put some foam shelf liner underneath the PCB -- see here and here.

The red light of the LEDs is also annoying. Did anyone use a black marker to tone down the inside of the led caps?

Thanks nice tip. How do I open the keyboard, is there no guide with pictures? I'm supposed to put the shelf liner beneath the red metal plate which is also the pcb right? Some said they put some shelf liner also in the keys and I don't understand how and why.
