...with the following ingredients:
1. Low profile MX keycaps, ala MX Board 2.0/3.0
2. PCB mount switches
3. A thin acrylic bottom plate layer below the PCB, with precut holes and spaces to accommodate components. This plate would ideally be thin enough to just allow the PCB to lie flat on a flat surface while adding some rigidity to the PCB.
4. A Bluetooth Low Energy controller with a user replaceable lithium polymer battery pack.
Idea: A Thin and Light Cherry MX Bluetooth Keyboard...

http://www.keyboardco.com/blog/index.ph ... rd-review/ Well filco have their bluetooth keyboard.
But I think a built in stand to hold tablets would be good also and maybe charge cable, fit a beefy battery into the keyboard so it doubles as a portable battery.

Now you're giving me ideas! My IBM Model F is heavy enough to make an excellent steady stand, and already has a lip built in for holding iPads. (Clearly!) It works fine via Soarer's Converter. Now all I need to do is figure out some way to anchor the tablet to it and conceal the wire…

Portability!

That's the stuff! The trouble is making the iPad prop on it, so you can really use your portable workstation. Who doesn't want to hear buckling spring in public?

I was thinking of this sort of stand :

and

But the stand would need to be larger to fit larger tablets, or maybe use clamps, the weight of the keyboard should be large enough counterbalance the weight.
