Ducky DK9008P and LEDs

I am not sure about how many LEDs are enabled on the Ducky DK9008P. Default configuration has some LEDs but not all holes are filled. I thought that all positions were enabled but a lot aren't...
Does anyone know how many LEDs are enabled? The PCB is the same of the Shine3. I checked with a tester and I do not have any voltage across a lot of positions...
Thank you!

I think only WASD Esc the lock switches and a few function row keys have led on those. But I don't own one so I could be wrong.

I think you are correct... I tried to put LEDs on other switches but they are not powered on... The PCB id the same of the Shine but Ducky has disabled power supply to almost all LEDs... Pity. :(

Yeah I noticed recently many have gone back to doing things either component wise, in the firmware, or even entirely different PCB revisions to stop people from DIY upgrading to more expensive models. For awhile there many were using the same PCB across different models and it was dead easy to upgrade it to 'delux' backlight model. I guess they caught on about home tinkerers and decided it was a good idea to put an end to it and force the buyer to pay more.

Are there resistors in place? Wouldn't make sense to include them if they don't have the LEDs installed.

Have a look for SMD resistors. And in particular, missing ones!

The CM NovaTouch had 3 lock LEDs in the prototype version which were lost in the final version. The LEDs were absent, and so were their SMD resistors. I managed to upgrade mine so it has a caps lock light, just like the prototype. Not an easy task, mind! My SMD savvy brother helped me out.
