I'm in the market for a converter. I like to have the best of everything... I think we all do.

The little blue cube converter commonly available is cheap and cheery, but how does that compare to the Soarer's converter?

I plan to use the converter with an IBM model F SSK hooked up to an iMac.

With best, and happy new year to you all from Dubai,

With Soarer's converter you can remap keys, with a Blue Cube you can't. There was a thread arround currently, which shows a cheap way to build a Soarer's converter for something like 8$.

Slip of the tongue, I'm sure. SSKs are the best Model Ms out there. But they aren't to be confused with the 4704 series

The blue cube is working nicely for me... but is there any way to change its name? I guess not, its presently called USBPS2 and I'd prefer IBM SSK
